Gram Arrives HOME!

We were walking out of Room P817 at 11:30am this morning. We took our stuff (we had quite a bit after over 5 weeks in the hospital) and headed downstairs. Both Mom and I were crying ... go figure! After waiting for the car we had a non-eventful drive home. Mom was able to walk into the house with her walker, sit in her recliner, move to the sofa, go to the toilet and make it into bed ... all by herself. After the kids go to bed I will head over to flush her IV and make sure she has the right medication before she goes to bed. Between Bert, Dad and I we will be with her 24 hours a day for the next week. There is no place like HOME! PRAISE GOD! WE ARE HOME!
