Doing Better and Better

Mom has had a really good week. Since she moved to the lift chair, the winged back chair and bed only she has not had any back spasms. Her spinal cord just isn't ready for the recliner and sofa. Of the course of the week we left Mom more and more on her own (of course we were still near by). We have ordered an alert bracelet so that she can contact us and emergency services if needed. We are still getting organized and anxiously awaiting Mom's doctor appointments at the end of next week. She has finished her second cycle of chemo and steriods and the third one has not been scheduled so far. She is up to getting short visits from the triplets (typically one at a time) and Sean is riding the bus to her house several times a week. Life isn't normal yet but we are making some great strides towards getting to our new normal.
