Blood Draw Ordeal

For two weeks in a row getting Mom's blood drawn was a major pain.  We are doing in locally in order to avoid the drive into Houston ... but for two weeks in a row it would have been faster to drive there and back.  The first week the lab never sent the results ... or at least MDA never got them.  So we moved to a new lab where the pace was still slow, slow very slow since they did not have all the information they needed.  They finally got it and after almost three hours Mom's blood was drawn ... and this time MDA did get the results.  It should work much faster next week since we have all the paperwork completed.  The good news is that her blood counts looked great!
