Aranesp Injection

Mom was supposed to get an injection of Aranesp yesterday but it never happened. So I asked the doctor about it and she is ordering it so that Mom can get it before she leaves ... versus making another trip. Aranesp is a medication that is used to treat a low red blood cell count (anemia) by stimulating bone marrow to create new red blood cells. It may help to lessen fatigue caused by chemotherapy.
