Dr. Romaguera and his nurse practitioner Kathleen(I think that was her name) stopped by to let us know that the MRI was being re-scheduled. I was able to get them fully up to speed on Mom's condition (finally someone who was really listening!). They said that we need to start with the MRI then once we have the results then we can sit down and determine the next course of action for Mom. I feel a "tick, tick, tick" going in the back of my head but I felt like Dr. Romaguera (and especially his NP) understood what steps we need to take with Mom. It was a brief but good meeting and he will take care of Mom once she is moved over to her hospital room.
Still no doctor has told Mom that if she does not get treatment that she only has weeks to live! I keep thinking that Dr. Romaguera will tell her ... but they never do.
