Today Mom had an echocardiogram to see if the Revlimid has impacted her EF rate. And it has. Her EF is 25% down from 45%. Needless to say we are very, very worried. We head back to MDA tomorrow to met with Dr. Plana (cardiologist) to see i there is anything we can do ti improve Mom's heart. The doctor mentioned medication or possibly a pacemaker. I will update the blog after we meet with the doctor.
The bummer is that the Revlimid worked great on the cancer ... but the heart is pretty darn important. And thus, our saga continues!
