I went back to Mom's room and Kathleen, the nurse practitioner was there. I nearly hugged her ... well, actually I did once I told her that I was a friend of Krista's. Anyway, she is going to make sure that Mom has the echocardiogram today. She also is going to make sure that someone discusses all the results with Mom while she is still here ... versus dragging Mom back over to the clinic to sit and wait which she truly can't do now. Kathleen said ... lets get the results of the MRI, the results of the echo ... then Mom will have all the information she needs to decide the next steps.
