Michael Jackson

With the death of Michael Jackson the radio stations have been playing his music non-stop. In the drive from MD Anderson and home I heard one of his songs that really touched my heart. "I'll Be There" which reads like something my Dad would say to my Mom. Of course, not as high pitched as MJ.

"You and I must make a pact, we must bring salvation back
Where there is love, I'll be there

I'll reach out my hand to you, I'll have faith in all you do
Just call my name and I'll be there

'Ill be there to comfort you,
Build my world of dreams around you, I'm so glad that I found you
I'll be there with a love that's strong
I'll be your strength, I'll keep holding on

Let me fill your heart with joy and laughter
Togetherness, well that's all I'm after
Whenever you need me, I'll be there
I'll be there to protect you, with an unselfish love that respects you
Just call my name and I'll be there."

I had a good cry as I drove and thought of what an incredible journey they have had. It makes me so very sad that it looks like their journey will be cut short far too soon. Never the less, the journey has been incredible.
