Mom's Wedding Gown

A few months ago I found Mom's wedding gown in a cedar trunk at the farm. Mom told me that she paid $20 for the material and $15 to have it made. The veil was with the dress as well. On her wedding day back in July 14, 1962 the gown was pure white. Today it is a pale ivory but it only have a few stains on it. I brought it over to show Mom before I took it to be cleaned and heirloomed. She is hoping that Addison could wear it someday (not as a wedding gown) but on some other special occasion. She suggested adding sequins or other jewels to jazz it up a bit. Since I was a good 5 inches taller than Mom the dress never fit me ... but maybe Addison can wear it someday.
