Star Trek

During today's visit Mom indicated that she did not want to talk about "it" until after the MRI.  Its the same thing that she told Dad.  She wants to hold off on making any decisions until she has all the information.  In the meantime I decided to tell her all about the new Star Trek movie.  Bert and I agree that Mom would LOVE this new movie.  We grew up watching old espisodes of the original Star Trek ... in fact, Mom used to let me stay up late to watch it with her.  I told her the whole story and she laughed when I told her about some of the things that Bones did to Jim Kirk.  Anyway ... it was five or ten minutes of talking about something that we both enjoyed.  Man, I love to hear my Mom laugh.  She spent most of the day sleeping and she continues to be very weak.
