Dialysis Has Begun

So the catheter is in and dialysis has started. The procedure to put in the catheter went fine and Mom slept through the whole thing. The initial dialysis will take about three hours and it should clear about 50% of the junk in her kidneys. Then they will do another treatment tomorrow to get the rest. She will continue dialysis until the doctors have the myeloma under control. Mom is completely out of it right now which I view as a very nice blessing. The doctors are able to help her and she is not scared at all. Please pray that as she comes out of the sedation we are able to explain what has happened and that she will remain calm.
