DO NOT TRUST - EVIL

We have been trying all day to get Mom off the ventilator. She woke up enough that she was desperately trying to communicate. She was frantically mouthing words and drawing in the air. We final got a pad where you can punch letters. She typed DO NOT TRUST then she typed EVIL then she typed WHERE. This broke my heart. We asked if she was afraid and she said yes by squeezing our hands. She was on a drug called Fentanyl -- which is common with the use of ventilators. Well -- I had the nurse look it up and it can cause hallucinations. I got the doctor in the room and they have canceled the fentanyl.
