Exercises Have Begun

Mom is doing her breathing exercises and doing great. She is exhausted but she looks absolutely beautiful (of course she will never believe it). Dad and I are alternating wiping her face with an ice cold cloth. Mom has been hot since yesterday (that's not all that weird -- she always hot). We should be able to get plenty of exercises in prior to 9 or 10 o'clock tonight then she can sleep through the night (well, as much as anyone can in ICU). She should be able to start drinking and talking more tomorrow -- tonight its about breathing and not confusing her tubes (one for breathing and one drinking) ... hence no liquids until tomorrow.
