Breathing: Hard Work!

After being on the ventilator for 5 days Mom now has the very hard job of breathing on her own. She has to take very slow deep breaths plus breathing exercises. She is truly exhausted after the ordeal of getting rid of the ventilator. She still has not spoken though it has only been an hour. The focus now is on deep breaths and making sure that she does not need the ventilator again.
