Holding Pattern

We are in a holding pattern. No update on getting the tube removed and I really cannot even tell how Mom is doing. She is resting comfortably but I cannot tell how much she is breathing on her own. I called radiation and discovered that Mom's appointment has been moved to 12:30pm but I am guessing that they will continue to move it throughout the day as needed. They did add the appointment we missed yesterday to the end of her schedule so it will be on January 31 at 11:45am. Earlier she type the word "please" when the renal doctor was in the room referencing the removal of the tube. She has no sedation and on 2 on the Precedex (Dexmedetomidine) ... but her blood pressure has gone up some so they may add teh precedex back as I believe it has an anti-anxiety component. Man ... I should have gone to medical school! Oh, how I pray that the tube comes out today.
