RR Needs to Go Up

So Mom is completely off sedation -- this is an answer to prayer! She is on some medications to help her tolerate the ventilator and something for anxiety. I have no idea what RR means on the ventilator but it records how often Mom takes a breath on her own without the assistance. So we are praying that the RR goes up ... and up ... and up! There is about 30 more minutes of dialysis. No change with her kidneys which is to be expected since she has only had one treatment for the myeloma. So she will have dialysis again tomorrow.
