Bladder Scan

This morning the nurse did a bladder scan to see how much urine is left in Mom's bladder -- which was only 27cc. She produced 450cc this morning. A normal person produces between 800 and 2000 cc per day. So Mom's urine output is looking really good. Now we just need the creatintine levels to get within normal range ... then maybe we can get her off dialysis. Of course, I am sure there are other criteria they look at for taking someone off dialysis -- but at least we are moving in the right direction. The night went fine and the day started at 5am when they delivered duplicate linens. OT therapy starts at 9am followed by group at 11am then PT at 1pm. Today is just about therapy ... tomorrow is the dreaded dialysis.
