Weak, Pain and Tired

These are the words Mom is using to describe how she feels -- weak, pain and tired. She has fallen asleep between her therapy sessions each time -- with a PT session starting in about 10 minutes. Dr. Konzen came by and we discussed getting an x-ray on Wednesday if the pain continues to get worse. We also discussed the dialysis and just how weak it is making Mom. I am sending a note to the renal doctors as soon as Mom starts her next session to see if there is something they can do. They are also going to make sure that she is anemic prior to going to dialysis -- so if she needs blood they will give it to her the night before. The reason all of this is coming up now versus previously is that there has always been something else going on ... radiation, oxygen, chemo, etc ... this is the first week that it is just moving around (normal life via therapy) and dialysis. In two words ... dialysis sucks! We are gonna see what we can do to make the process easier on Mom.
