Let Cycle 2 of Velcade Begin

On Sunday Mom started the second cycle of velcade and dexamethasone. She was a bit anxious about getting the velcade ... but it was a "non-event" with no immediate side effects. Her creatinine was down to 3.4 with her blood urea nitrogen at 21. Bert stayed with her Saturday night and all day Sunday while Elizabeth and I worked on getting the house ready for her arrival. Dad spent his first tax season weekend at the office on Sunday to make sure that the work did not pile up. Sunday was a good day for Mom ... though with the dexamethasone (steriods) we do not plan to get much sleep tonight.
