It was a sleepless night -- but we were kinda prepared for that. Mom is really tired and anxious about the MRI. She did get in an hour and half nap after the blood draw and prior to transport to the MRI. We just got her into the MRI room and I am waiting for them to call me. As typical for Mom ... she was hot and I used the construction proposal as a fan to keep her cool while we waited. I could tell that the anxiety was building as we sat there ... but the nurses were nice and they seemed to have dealt with patients with claustrophobia before ... so I sit her praying that she is sound asleep and that the MRI is going well.
Some good news .... creatinine is down to 3.3 (yahoo!) though normal is 0.8 to 1.5. Her blood urea nitrogen is a bit high today at 24, normal is 8 to 20. Her urine output is still OK but not as good as the past few days but it could be due to the lasix wearing off and the fact that she had 3 bowel movements (thanks to some citrate) yesterday.
