Very Rough Afternoon

Following dialysis Mom had a really rough afternoon. She was very weak and very tired. She tired sitting up to each dinner and had planned to go for a wheelchair ride afterwards ... but she grew really weak and her back started hurting so back to bed she went. We think this was a combination of the exercises she did the morning and the dialysis -- that's a lot to put her body through. She is feeling a bit better now and she just managed to get up a urinate a whole bunch (go, kidneys, go!). We are waiting for her pain pill and possibly a high blood pressure pill prior to going to sleep.
