As soon as we got to the emergency center I told the nurse that we needed to talk with the Myeloma doctor on call. Mom needs to understand that if she does not have treatment then she will only have weeks to live. Dr. Shah came by and he reviewed her chart ... but he NEVER came in to see her. Dr. Rice did not think Mom's condition was all that bad so of course we are hopefully that Mom is going to be OK. Dr. Weber was also paged several times and she did not respond either.

At this point we have no idea that her Bence Jones is over 5,000.
