Dr. Hagemeister till January 31st

Dr. Hagemeister came by to check on Mom and he will continue to do so through the month of January -- apparently the doctors do monthly rotations through the hospital. He stated that Mom's labs look good and she appears to have tolerated the velcade. It's hard to tell since Mom is still sedated. He told us to make sure that there are 4 hours free from dialysis on either side of taking the velcade. If her platelets are OK then she will take the velcade again on Wednesday, January 23. So Mom's cancer treatment is well on its way. Now we just need to get the breathing under control -- that's the priority now.
