Radiation Treatment #7

We ended up going to radiation after all. So Mom has now completed 7 of 10 treatments. She really hates going to radiation but she also understands that they are terminating tumors so its something she can endure. MD Anderson has been great ... but there are humans running around doing stuff and they make errors. And there are some we like better than others. Interesting enough Mom's male nurses have outshined their female counterparts ... but there have been tons of good ones. Cesar, Dan, Lavinne, Rikki and Richard have been outstanding. Charles and Joy were good. But I would not want to have Becky or Helen again ... they seem to be doing their "job" not actually caring for the needs of the patients. Mom is fairly low maintainence since we do everything we can for her but simple requests seem to take Helen forever.

We are waiting for Dr. Hagemeister to make his rounds. He is usually here by now but today is Saturday and I am sure he has a family that wanted to see him this morning. With any luck he will release her to a regular room and hopefully there is on available. Keep our fingers crossed.
