Getting Organized

Mom seems to be getting a bit better each day. She has been able to sleep even with the steriods -- which is fantastic news! I am arriving at Mom's around 6am so that Bo can head into the office. I typically fall asleep for a bit then get to work. My work is extremely busy right now but I am able to work from Mom's house so that I can assist her as needed ... medications, food, etc. But for the most part she is getting around very well. We have created files for all of the new information we received from MD Anderson and did a small bit of organizing. Tomorrow I hope to get her medications off the kitchen counter and into a more permanent spot ... its slow moving but we are getting there. The kids still have colds but it was a really nice day ... so I took them over for about 30 minutes to run around in Mom's backyard. Bert, Elizabeth and Sean were there since Bo needed to work late. The kids ran around a bit then we headed home for dinner. It was good to see Mom smile as the kids ran up to tell her stories through the window ... plus they were pretty excited to see Cousin Sean and Uncle Bert in the backyard.
